Brotherly Love

Joseph LOVES his baby Jack.  He wants to watch Incredibles since it has a baby Jack Jack in it.  He is constantly wanting to touch Jack and frequently rubs Jack's head. Any time Jack moves his arm so that it looks like he's raising his hand, Joe very excitedly says, "Look Mom, he's saying hi to me!"

I love that Joe loves Jack so much, but right now Joe has a runny nose and cough.  I keep telling Joe that he can't touch Jack because it would get Jack sick.  To which Joe replies, "I'm not sick!" and touches Jack anyway.

Jackson is 1 Month Old

I can't believe an entire month has gone by since we had our little Jack.  I'm still very much trying to create a sense of normalcy in my life, but I'm so grateful for the challenges he brings because he's here with us!
Clara decided to see what Jack looked like in my glasses, then she thought it was so funny she took a picture.
Also this week, it snowed more than it has since Christmas.  Clara was never able to make a snowman all winter, so I made sure we made it outside to make one for her.
The weather man said we were only supposed to get 1 to 3 inches.  Since the snow came up to the top of Joe's boots, it was more like 6 inches.  Joe was so excited to go walk around in the snow.  We had some Dr appointments that day, so I let him go outside while I got Jack ready to go.  He was in heaven just wandering around our yard.

Spring Break

I'm still in survival mode as far as a new baby goes, so we didn't do a whole lot for spring break this week.  Clara got bored one day and kept asking me what she could do.  I told her she had to come up with something herself (especially since the few things I did suggest she didn't think were good ideas.)  So a few minutes later she asked if she could have a box.  I happily obliged and she spent the next day or two transforming her box into different things. Her favorite was a bed though.  And Joe had to have one just like Clara.
Then we spent a lot of time with Legos.  My kids love them.  (Most of these pics are from the week before spring break, but they were too cool to not post.)

Happy Easter

Since we were at the cabin all weekend, the Easter Bunny came to our house on Monday.  He brought T-Shirts for Clara and Joe, Formula for Jackson, and candy filled eggs along with Big Hero 6 for everyone!
I loved how excited my kids were to find all the hidden eggs!
We also were able to attend the annual Beck Easter treasure hunt that Grandma Beck likes to do for all the grandkids.
Hope everyone else had as good of an Easter as we did!

Happy Birthday Mom!

My Mom had a large numbered birthday this week.  So we decided to surprise her and have our family reunion this weekend to celebrate her birthday instead of over the summer. We all met up at a cabin just outside of Coalville, UT.
My mom currently has 6 children, all who were married in the temple to 6 amazing people and 18 grandchildren with 2 more on the way!
We brought little Jackson so he could meet all my siblings and their kids.  I love that Emmett, who will be getting a little baby sibling of his own soon, was so excited to hold our little Jack.
I loved just getting to sit and visit with my siblings, mom, and grandmother all weekend.  It made watching General Conference a little hectic, but it was all worth it!
