Civil Rights Day

This last week we got to have Jeremy home from work and Clara home from school to celebrate Civil Rights Day.  We decided to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese for some fun.  They loved it!
We also were able to attend the Provo City Center's open house.  We've been to a temple open house each year for the past 3 years in a row, so Clara wasn't as excited about having to go see another temple as she had been about visiting the other temples.  However, by the time we got done, she was sad to leave the temple.  She could tell the spirit was stronger inside the temple than outside and she even asked if we could stay longer!
We loved the style and intricate details of the temple.  They tried to make it look like it was built in the late 1800's.  We especially were impressed with the door hinges and exit signs!

Jack is crawling everywhere now.  He used to just stay in the same room that I was in, but now I have to search the house to find him.  He's gotten really good at unplugging our internet.  One day I found him happily climbing in and out of our end table.  (Sorry that he wouldn't hold still long enough to get a nonblurry shot.  This is the best one I could get.)
When Joe saw I had the camera out, he wanted in on the pics too.  I love how this pic also represents how quick Jack is to cling to his older siblings.  He loves them and wants to be as close to them as he can, even if they don't appreciate it as much.
Joe picked out both his and Jacks clothes that morning so they could match.  They both have red long sleeved football shirts on with grey pants.

And lastly, I love how on Sundays we have our TV and electronic devices turned off all day long.  Sometimes that creates more fights than normal, but yesterday all 3 kids played so nicely together in the toy room for hours.  It made my day.

Feet

Jackson has always loved his feet.  When he was a newborn, he would love his feet to be rubbed.  He would also rub my arm with his feet as he ate.  When he was old enough to discover his feet, he would play with his toys more with his feet than with his hands.  He still loves to use his feet to play with his toys, although he does use his hands more often.  But it makes me laugh that he'll crawl over to a toy, sit by it, then use his feet to kick it around and feel it.  Jackson also loves to cross his ankles when he's relaxed.  I often find him just sitting on the floor with his ankles crossed too.  I'm not sure why I think it's so cute, but I really really do!

Normalcy

It's been hard going back to our normal schedule after such a long Christmas break, but we succeeded!  I've been tutoring more already this semester, which is always nice to get a little extra money.

Jeremy's feet have been hurting for a while now.  He finally went to see a Dr this last week.  We're so glad he did so that he can finally feel some relief. It's been hard not having his help for so long.

The only picture I got this week was of our little Jack's new teeth.  They've been in for a couple of weeks now, but have finally grown tall enough to show up in a picture!
I hope everyone else is getting back into their routines ok. :)

New Years

We headed to Rexburg for New Years since my brother was blessing his baby girl the first Sunday in Jan.  I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of our beautiful little Rose because we were all sick.  All my kids had coughs when we left, but Jeremy picked something up while we were there as well as my sister and a couple of  her kids.  I attended Sacrament meeting, but didn't get close enough for any pictures.

Before everyone got sick though, the kids decided to put on some plays for us.  They would practice all day long, as well as make their own scenery, tickets, and programs.  They would then perform for all of us in the evening.  It was so fun!
We are glad to be home though as everyone likes to be in their own home when they are trying to get better!
