Busy Week

Even though I had my camera with me almost all the time this week, I never got around to taking pictures of the many things we did....

We went to the splash pad in Alpine with some friends on Tuesday
Thursday we got to play with 3 of Clara's cousins and they all loved sliding into our wading pool.
Friday we got go out to eat and celebrate Jeremy's oldest sister's birthday along with her fiance's birthday. Congrats to both Melissa and Dave on getting engaged last week!  Couldn't be happier for both of you.

Saturday I got to attend the bridal shower of an old roommate and got to see so many friends that I haven't seen in a very long time.  It was so good to see you: Jenny, Kelda, Christina, Aubs, Traci, Lisa, Chante, and Lenora!

And last but not least, Clara and Jeremy got to see how big their crab got.  Clara insisted on getting Jeremy something red for Father's Day.  She just knew he would love this red crab that grows when you leave it in water for a couple of days.
Next week is just as busy for us and I have a goal to take more pictures!

Getting Warmer

I can't tell you how happy this picture makes me.  Let's just say that it's been a while since our house was the temperature our thermostat was set to at that time of day.  So happy our AC is fixed.
We were also able to find a great deal on this, and have loved getting to spend some time in the water to help with our hot  house!

Magic Bunny

Clara decided she needed a bunny made out of leaves for her magic show.  Here's her finished project.
I also learned this week that no matter how bad your child is vomiting, nor how bad the diarrhea is, nor how long said child is sick, it could still be just a virus.  Apparently babies can have viruses for up to 14 days.  So if there is no fever, blood in the stool, or abdominal pains, there's nothing the Dr can do until after 2 weeks.....   So sorry little Joe!  Here's to another week of doing 4 - 5 loads of laundry a day.....

Pony Express Days

We got to enjoy our city's festival days by attending the carnival.  Clara loved getting to ride so many rides.  I was so thankful that our money was well spent!
This was Clara's favorite ride.  I figured she would get scared of the mini roller coaster, but she didn't!  When we had extra tickets at the end, this is the ride she picked to ride until the tickets were gone.
And Joseph had fun just getting a ride in the stroller for so long.  :)
We also had a neighbor hood party this week to celebrate the last day of school.  Clara got her face painted and she was so proud to show everyone.
Clara also decided this week that she wanted to make a marshmallow tree.....
And last but not least, we had to say good-bye to our neighbors this week.  Clara loved getting to play with them.  We hope they enjoy their new house!
