We blessed Jackson on Sunday, May 24. I was really hoping he would be off oxygen by then, but we found out earlier on in the week that he failed his oxygen test again. We were told that he was still improving, but that we wouldn't do anymore tests until his appointment with his pulmonary specialist. So after I few days of moping, I got over it. Here are the pictures we took of him. And he looks handsome even with oxygen!
Thanks to everyone who came. I truly feel so overwhelmed by how much support we have!

Clara's Book
Clara started writing books for fun at the beginning of the school year. Her teacher lets her when she is done with her work and needs something to do as she waits for the rest of the class to finish.
So far, most of her books have been informative. Like a book about colors or insects. Those books just have one word at the bottom of the page and then a drawing above the word. So a page of the insect book would have "Butterfly" written at the bottom of the page and then she would draw a butterfly. There have been quite a few of those that I've been impressed with (like the book she wrote about animals that hatch from eggs,) but she brought one home the other day that I thought other people would be impressed with too.
This is the first book she's made up that was more on the creative side. I've typed up a translation at the bottom of each page so you can understand the misspelled words.
The cat saw the mouse. The mouse ran away, but the cat was right behind the mouse.
The mouse rand behind a flower pot, but the cat found the mouse! So the chase went on.
The mouse ran on top of the couch and hoped it was too tall for the cat. But it was no trouble at all! So the chase still went on.
The mouse ran into the garage. He hid behind the tire, but the cat saw the mouse's ears so the chase went on.
But then the mouse went into his hole. The cat was too big! So the chase was done!
I can't believe how big my baby girl is!

Jackson is 2 Months and Potty Training Prize
This week has brought lots of things to post about. First is the fact that Jackson is now 2 months old. He's finally waking up only once during the night, usually around 2 am. I love that I'm finally not feeling completely exhausted. Don't get me wrong, I'm still tired a lot, but I no longer feel like I'm so tired I can't think straight. I feel like I'm back to being a good Mom to Joe and Clara by not yelling all the time due to my lack of sleep. Yay for me! :)
We took him in for his 2 month check up this week and he's almost doubled his birth weight! We also were given the go ahead to keep doing over night oxygen tests about every 2 weeks. If he happens to pass between now and his Pulmonary specialist appointment, then we can cancel that appointment. So at least I don't feel like we're in limbo until June 15 anymore.
Joseph has been potty training for a couple of weeks now. I assumed that it was his idea to become a big boy (I'm all for keeping him in diapers a little longer,) that potty training would be easy. I won't go into any gross details, but let's just say he REFUSES to wear diapers because they are for babies, but he also hardly ever goes in the toilet. In addition to M&M's for immidiate prizes, I got him two other prizes. One he could earn by having at least one success during the day and having at least one clean pair of underwear on at the end of the day. He has 7 pairs of underwear, and it took us 5 days before he FINALLY earned his first prize. Boy was he sure proud of himself though when he got Diesel 10!
I hope this motivates him to keep trying! It's hard being patient when there are so many accidents to clean up!

Happy Mother's Day
My mother's day was great. Jeremy didn't have any meetings, so I was able to take a 2 hour nap while he played with the kids. That was the best gift to a mother with a newborn!
My boys also made me lunch together:
Clara has been great at stealing my phone and taking pictures with it. Here are a few that she took:
Joe is getting to be such a big guy. He brought Jack his diapers this week and said to me, "I'm a big guy. I don't need these diapers. I'm giving them to Jack." So potty training has begun at our house.....
Joe said to me, "I want to be in Percy. I want to be in Thomas too." I was confused until I realized that I had just finished talking to him about Potty Training. Boy was that sure hard to explain to a 2 year old the difference between Thomas the Train and to be Potty Trained!
Joe also is my active little guy. He's always running around or throwing balls. Every once in a while he'll announce, "I'm Super Duper Guy!" and then he'll run faster than he just was, or throw the ball harder than he had been.
He's also really loves cars. He has to bring them everywhere, even to the dinner table. One night he decided to stack his cars on his cup. I was actually really impressed he could stack that many cars on top of each other without it falling over!

Payson Temple Open House
Jeremy took off work on Monday, and we picked Clara up a few minutes early from school, so that we could to see the Payson Temple Open house. Joe's favorite parts were the stairs and Clara's favorite parts were the baptismal font and the beautiful lights.
Joseph kept asking where Jesus was. Apparently he actually listened to the video we watched before the tour started about how temples are the house of the Lord.
Something that was unusual about this open house was that the very last room we were able to see was a sealing room. They would pull a group in, and we got to sit in the sealing room and listen to a couple's testimony along with their short explanation of what takes place in that room. I loved the importance they placed on being able to be sealed as a family for all eternity!
