We had a very fun filled weekend. We started the weekend with Clara's school's annual fundraiser: The Rapter Lapter! She ran 2.25 miles in 35 minutes. She even slowed down so that Joe could run with her most of the way! I was sure proud to see them running together.
Since it finished close to the time of school getting out, I decided to hang out in Clara's room while they did a fund egg coloring activity.
The Easter Bunny comes on Saturdays at our house, so our kids loved getting new PJ's and a small new toy along with some candy.
Here are all the kids in their Easter PJ's. Although Joe insists that his are not pajamas, the are clothes!!!
And here is Batman all ready to fight some bad guys.
Saturday afternoon, we got to attend Beck's baptism. Beck is the son of one of my favorite roommates. I love both her and her husband dearly. They live in the Boise area, so it's been years since we've seen them. I wish we could have visited more Angie and Carl! Thanks for inviting us to Beck's baptism.
Sunday brought a Beck Family get together where we celebrated Jack's First Birthday!
We had a wonderful Easter Weekend, I hope you did too!

Jackson Turns 1
I can't believe my baby is one! My mom came over to celebrate his day with us. She gave him a remote control and he got some Duplos from us.
He loved his new toys! Since he was born on Pi Day, I made him a banana cream pie for dessert.
He loved it. He was a little leery at first. But I put some in his mouth, and then he just started grabbing at anything he could.
Here's a slide show his life so far:
Five Days old:
First smile (Two months old)
3 months old:
6 Months Old (and off oxygen!!!!)

Sick
Every person in our family has been sick this last week and a half.... Jeremy brought it home from work, Clara got it a few days later, then Joe got it a few days after that, then I finished it up this weekend. Luckily, it was was a 24 hour type bug, so it didn't take too long to recover, but it was miserable while it was going on. I just kept telling myself that I proved my love and devotion to my kiddos this week as I've changed bedding in the middle of the night, some nights numerous times. I was also cleaning carpets at 2 am due to accidents caused by being sick. I also was deeply saddened when my Clara told me in the morning she had slept in vomit because she didn't want to have to wake me again. :( And my little Joe found it hard to, "Cough into the bucket when I'm laying down." Apparently he kept forgetting that I told him he was perfectly welcome to sit up when he felt sick.

FHE
Clara was in charge of Family Home Evening this week. She decided we should make "Thank-you awards" for each other to thank them for things that we like about them. Clara thanked Jeremy for "Thank you for laughing" award.
Jeremy gave Joe the Joseph Cup, which says "Thank you for being so silly, laughing with me and being my really good friend!"
Joe gave me a green piston cup that he colored.
And I gave Clara a ribbon for winning at drawing.
It was a great FHE. I loved seeing everyone smile and be proud of who they are.
We also went to the park again this week. Jack has gotten over his fear of swings!
