Turns out I didn't take any pictures this week. So here are a few of the things that happened this week.
The primary presidency came to our house to talk to us about the logistics of Clara's baptism. With 7 - 8 kids getting baptized (just from our ward,) there isn't a lot of planning on our part. She also her her bishopric interview this week. She is getting so excited and I've seen a huge change in her, especially with keeping the Sabbath Day holy.
Some hard things have happened this week to some really good friends. One friend found out her husband was having an affair. Another friend found out her little brother was taking heroin every 2 to 3 hours, had a family intervention, then took him to Florida to a rehab facility. From the time they found out to the time they dropped him off in FL was just over 24 hours, so it was a crazy week for them. The entire family knew he was using, but had no idea how much. It has made me so grateful for the trials that I have. It is also made me so grateful for a husband who loves me unconditionally and treats me better than I deserve.
I was also able to attend the General Women's meeting. It was so nice to put things into perspective after the week I've had. I was also grateful for a sister who made the effort to come say hi and sit by me.

Happy Birthdays
Jeremy had is 36th birthday this last week. We celebrated by going out to eat, and having a few gifts at home. It felt like a rushed day, but Jeremy seemed to enjoy it anyway!
Jackson also turned 6 months old this last week. He's 13 lbs 5 oz (0%) and 25.75 inches long (13%). He is rolling around everywhere to get his toys. He doesn't roll across the room but if they are close to being within reach he finds a way to wiggle himself over. He is sitting up with support, and is loving looking around at everything. He loves to be outside, which is what I do when he's crying and I can't figure out why. If I take him outside, he stops crying immediately.
Clara has gotten to be such a big helper. She will often take Jack when he's crying and play with him so he's happier. One day she came and got me to see something, and this is what I found.
Clara also made Jeremy breakfast on Sunday. She overheard him tell me that he hadn't had a chance to eat yet (he has early morning meetings.) But he and I kept discussing a few things, so she went to the kitchen and made him some toast without being asked! We sure are proud of who you are becoming, Clara!

My Kids
My kids play so well together after having very limited screen time. I love it. They even include Jack
I know I post a lot about how much Jack loves his feet. He will use them more often than his hands. Here he is playing with his toys.
That mirror he has between his feet normally lays this way:
I'm seriously amazed at how much he can do with those toes! And if I lay him on the floor without any toys to play with, he finds his toes and plays with them. He can get his feet up in the air super fast.

Labor Day Weekend
Sorry I didn't post last week. We decided to have a technology free home for a week. I was amazed at how much less fighting we had! We have re-introduced it this week, but on a very much more limited bases. Our kids also know that if the fighting starts happening again, they loose it. But that also means Jeremy and I get less screen time too, so I wasn't able to post last week.
We had a great Labor Day yesterday. We were able to attend 2 BBQ's. Our lunch BBQ was with the family of one of Jeremy's co-workers. They live close to us and Jeremy and Jarrod always commute together.
We then headed to Jeremy's parent's house for a small family BBQ. We got to visit with Eric and Amy who recently got engaged! It was so fun getting to hear their story. Joe loved playing with his cousin, Bradley. Bradley is about 6 months older than Clara, so I'm not sure how much he loved having a tag along all day long, but he sure was a good sport about it. Clara loved getting to play in Grandma's garden with all the tall corn stalks!
Jackson is getting to be such the family favorite. His siblings have to be right next to him all the time. And Clara talk to complete strangers and say, "Isn't my baby brother the cutest baby you've ever seen?"
And Jackson still loves his toes/feet. He especially likes the taste of them.
