Youth Conference

This last week was our Ward Youth Conference. We had a blast. We started if off by a fireside where our speaker was a retired FBI agent. He spoke about the importance of following the spirit, and of course told stories about how following the spirit helped him in his job. It was exciting.

The next day, we took a bus up to Salt Lake. We toured the state capital building, met the Lieutenant Governor, Toured Temple Square including going to the top of the Church Office Building and looking at the incredible view.We also went to This is the Place Monument, got a driving tour of the city, saw the Salt Palace, and visited Kennecott Copper Mine. The next morning we played games, where only a few minor injuries occurred. :) It was fun, and even the youth talked about how much fun it was.

Sarah,
Hi! I thought someone made a post on my blog by mistake, then saw your name! Your little girl is adorable. I'm glad you took a look at our blog. It's been a long time since we've seen each other but I love this way of keeping in touch with old friends!

Looks like lots of fun! Your little girl is SO cute! She has the prettiest eyes! Wow! That's so sad to hear that your dad passed away 6 years ago too! They probably passed away pretty close to each other. My dad passed away Nov. 2002. Anyway, it's so nice to know that someone knows how I feel inside! We need to get together again! We haven't even seen your new apartment!

By the way, are you guys going to Stu's reception tomorrow night?
