Freeport, Grand Island, Bahama: Cruise Day 2

We started the day by discovering that our original excursion was cancelled.  So we headed down to the main deck with Michael and Genevieve (whose excursion was also cancelled) to see if we could do something together.  We went on a tour of the Garden of the Groves in Freeport.  It was beautiful, and we loved being able to go to their little shops to get something for our kids.
After the Garden of the Groves, we were dropped off at the Freeport Market area.  Since we had done some shopping at the Garden of the Groves, we decided to walk to the beach instead.
We walked in the water, and loved having the water splash our feet.
We even wrote our kid's names in the sand to let them know we were thinking of them!
That night on the ship, we discovered that alcoholic drinks were free, but you had to pay for soda.  So we just started ordering virgin pina-colada's and strawberry daiquiri's.  Jeremy's favorite was the pina-colada and he ended up ordering about 5 or 6 each day.
I started enjoying all the sea food options they had for dinner.  I made sure to order one each night while it was free.  Here's my clam linguine, which I had that night.
We also got the only full group picture that night, it seemed like all the other pictures we got, one or two couples were missing.
We then had some fun entertainment that night.  We watched the Not so Newlywed Game followed by an American Idol type show.
Luckily, our sea sickness was minimal that night (and every other night past that first one.)
